The book «Fundação e Arqueologia – Contexto e Discurso do Território Contemporâneo», by Paulo Tormenta Pinto, was presented at Arpad Szenes-Vieira da Silva Museum, in Lisboa, with a conversation between Paulo Tormenta Pinto, Gonçalo Byrne and Pedro Botelho.
The book, published by Circo de Ideias, starts the collection Lições de Arquitectura, an editorial project that aims to gather a set of classes, from Portuguese architects, that portray the contemporary thinking about the theory and practice of architecture. This collection will include the registration and dissemination of lectures given in an academic context, in the various architecture schools of the country. This first Architecture Lesson reflects on the contemporary territory of the city based on the Foundation and Archeology.
The editorial project was supported by ISCTE-IUL (Instituto Universitário de Lisboa), by DINÂMIA’CET-IUL – (Centro de Estudos sobre a Mudança Socioeconómica e o Território) and by the Lisbon City Hall.
