Open Source: architecture as an open culture

The international seminar «Open Source: architecture as an open culture», curated by Gonçalo Azevedo, took place at Casa da Música with the participation of Cecil Balmond, Hans-Ulrich Obrist, Sanford Kwinter, Tomás Saraceno, Ron Eglash, Rubedo, Overworld, António Adão da Fonseca and Luis Tavares Pereira.

In parallel, the book «Open Source: architecture as an open culture» was launched and an exhibition took place at  Casa da Arquitectura about the work of Cecil Balmond, an author, engineer, designer, philosopher and structuralist who embodies the approach that inspired the event.
