Vítor Figueiredo: fragmentos de um discurso
Nuno Arenga (ed.)
This book, published by Circo de Ideias and edited by Nuno Arenga, seeks to reconstruct the discourse of Vítor Figueiredo through an assembly based on fragments from very different registers. Comprised between 1995 and 2003, these fragments correspond to his last years of life, where we can find his remarkable trilogy of public school buildings, as well as his more mature speech.
The editorial project was supported by the Directorate-General for the Arts and by Constructora San Jose S.A..
I wish that what I could say would not be understood as a persuasive speech, but as clues that are thrown; not as paths or truths, but as vibrations that compel us to think about a certain subject.
