The book archive 60 images (+1) authored by Pedro Cardigo, in a black and white special selection curated by António Choupina, of details and contrasts of Álvaro Siza’s architecture, namely: Boa Nova Tea House, Quinta da Conceição Swimming Pool, Marés Swimming Pool, Bouça Neighbourhood, FAUP (Architecture Faculty), São Bento Metro Station, Gramaxo Fundation, Serralves Fundation and Álvaro Siza Wing, Open Sculpture in Leça do Balio, Zebro Belvedere, Metrobus Stops of Marechal Gomes da Costa Avenue and Monte da Lapa.

In his architectural photography work, Pedro Cardigo shows great attention to detail and the way the light works and travels through the structure and its textures, giving his images a special kind of atmosphere. In his black and white photographs, we can see the influence of the aesthetic and motif of classic cinema, present in the way the light falls on the scenes.
